Below is the original message posted on this site when it was first sent to friends and family.

On Sunday, June 24, 2007 Randy Laco passed away at the young age of 44. We are all left with grieving hearts. When others are asked what they will miss the most about Randy, invariably they say, “I will miss his laugh.”

So will we all. That is one gift he left us. There are many more and it is the goal of this memorial site to show Randy through his brief life, and to have all of you share your memories of this remarkable young man so his life can be seen in the context of all that he was.

To that end, in addition to many photos of Randy through the years, we have also included a Memory Book where you can tell your story or stories. When many have been collected, we can sort by date and have an abbreviated life story by family and friends.

We also encourage you to send us, through this site, any photos or videos you may have of Randy.
